India-Israel Youth Forum is a recently established forum that seeks to promote student-student dialogue in order to promote the bilateral ties between both the nations and helping youth ambassadors to understand the culture, tradition, economic relations that these nations share.
In 2019, Global Youth had organized a Chat With a Diplomat session with Ms Ms. Avigail Spira, (Spokesperson for Embassy of Israel, India) and Mr. Arjun Hardas, (Representative of American- Jewish Committee) on ‘Evolution of India-Israel relations since 1992’.
We look forward to establishing stronger bonding with the Embassy and partnering on several projects to provide a space for growth through track II diplomacy. Having onboard International members, generating flow of ideas and promoting cultural exchange are the areas that the forum is currently focused on.
Priyam, Chairperson
Priyam is a third-year, Economics and Entrepreneurship student from Gargi College. She has a keen interest in international relations, finance and global politics. She is a bookworm and her perpetual interests include art, digital media, languages and travelling.
Chhavi, Deputy Chairperson
A second year student of BA History Honours, she remains lost most of the time. She is passionate enough, though slightly reluctant to take up new ideas and initiatives. Someone who prefers and is ready to be lost in the world of books forever, it no longer deters her from exploring new fields.
She is completely into international relations and this is what brought her to GY. She is ready to hit the ground running and is excited to strive to take India-Israel relations to new heights.
