"India-USA Youth Forum is one of the oldest forums of Global Youth. It provides an avenue to interact with diplomats and bright young minds across a dissimilitude of fields. In addition to building a foundation for discussing issues between the two countries, the forum works with the American Centre and the American Embassy to enhance cooperation. Taking into account the status of the United States of America as a hegemon, India as an emerging power, and the converging interests of these great democracies, the forum also provides an insight into how this relationship is maintained.
The Forum aims at inculcating diplomacy as a skill through frequent collaborations and international outreach programmes, and focuses on expanding the scope conducting events cantered around innovative themes. In this tech-driven global age, it employs social media as a means to be more accessible. Characterised by accommodation, it also envisions establishing resourceful international contacts for the conducive growth of the forum. By augmenting and diversifying its member base, it aims at fostering an environment which empowers youth in India and the USA.
India-USA Youth Forum has previously conducted a Chat With a Diplomat Session with Mr. Karl Adam, Cultural Affairs, U.S Embassy New Delhi, on the theme ""Youth Empowerment : Influencing International Policies and Collaborations"". The forum has also collaborated extensively with its umbrella organisation, Global Youth India, for substantive discourse on various issues regarding policies of the US which are aimed at resolving global challenges.

Aarushi Giri, Chairperson

Aarushi is a third year political science undergraduate and Conflict transformation and Peace building diploma student from Lady Shri Ram College for Women. With a strange disposition to combine English and Hindi in the weirdest possible way in the syntax formation, she is always in the quest to discover the answers to her "how, what, when and why" in life.  

Her penchant for International relations and zeal to study the amalgamation of politics and policy making, has intrigued her to be a part of Global Youth India. As the chairperson of the India-USA Youth forum, she is looking forward to exploring the nuances of the international political ecosystem in a more refined manner.

Nishtha Singh, Deputy Chairperson

Nishtha Singh is a second-year History Honors student at Delhi Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi. International relations have long captivated her curiosity. Being a confident orator, she aspires to influence the world by her words and deeds. Her inquisitive personality has always pushed her to seek out different perspectives on global concerns, which led her to this platform. She is a vivacious and self-motivated individual who relishes working as a team.

Aakarshi Srivastava, Secretary

Aakarshi Srivastava is a sophomore pursuing History Honours with a minor in Political Science from Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi. She has always been intrigued and fascinated by geopolitics and wishes to explore this realm further. She has varied interests and tries to pursue and nurture all of them. At the outset her personality might seem an uptight one but she is actually a fun loving person who tries to lighten the room with humour. 

Aakarshi is really excited and grateful to be a part of Global Youth India-USA Forum. She seeks to understand and learn the various nuances and widen her perspectives regarding geopolitics through this platform.
