Global Youth feels the utmost pride in announcing the inception of the International Legal Council. The ILC will be a platform to facilitate dialogue, debate and discussion on legal, legislative and juristic issues around the world. The goal of this council is to create an environment where students can learn and understand the technicalities of laws and working of legal institutions like the International Court of Justice in order to initiate change in the legal era. The primary vision of this council to understand trends, historicity, execution and building procedures of laws in an international context. This platform aims at bringing change in the arena of law and its makers by igniting awareness among the youth to learn and engage in conversations. With this council as their foundation, students can research and talk on issues relating policy making and international conflicts. This will enable students to have a say in laws that will affect their future by interacting with dignitaries who have knowledge to impart and are at the pinnacle of their respective fields. ILC will be a platform open to students from all walks of life and will strive to create engaging conversations between curious minds and established personalities on brooding issues around the world.

Gairick Chaudhuri, Chairperson
Gairick is a second year law student at the University School of Law and Legal Studies, GGSIPU, Delhi. He is highly interested in the fields of International Trade & Investment Law as well as Space Laws. He joined the International Legal Council purely out of his love for International Relations. When he is unoccupied, he can be found drawing new borders on world maps and imagining hypothetical wars or peace treaties.

Avika Bhardwaj, Deputy Chairperson
Avika is a first year student pursuing BA program at Lady Shri Ram College for Women. She is driven by her serious interest in law and public policy making and believes in a wider realm of knowledge beyond the academic curriculum. She aims to explore Legal paradigms to expand awareness in the society. Avika values her commitment towards integrity and ethics. She seeks every opportunity for intrinsic development and to volunteer the knowledge for a significant change.

Bishwajyoti Pal, Secretary
Bishwajyoti is a penultimate student pursuing BBA LLB (H) from Amity Law School, Noida. He is primarily interested in legal research and discussion. He has a keen interest in working on international corporate law and arbitration, soft power, natural resource law and space law.
