In the words of Robert Swan, "The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it."

Realising the power of the Sustainable Development Goals, this Council aims to create avenues for the youth to create awareness, learn and implement sustainable ideas. The Sustainable Development Goals Council focuses on equality, peace, and progress. At the Council we create awareness, deliberate and discuss, analyse policies, interact with diplomats and provide solutions to global problems.

The events and competitions organised by the council encourage the members to find sustainable alternatives to practices and policies, both, local and global.

We look forward to you joining us in our mission to drive impact and spearhead change!

Harsha Singh, Deputy Chairperson

Being a staunch Feminist, she's a constant reader and a book "buff" whose areas of interest remains the Humanitarian causes, societal taboos, equality of all, serving the grassroots and International Diplomacy. She believes in the path of Equal Treatment and Equality, as the prime notion of Development. Apart from that, she also harnesses unconventional interests like hiking, traveling and relentlessly talking.

Anjali Batra, Secretary

Being an obsessed thinker, a music fanatic and a terribly insane flapper (for some) defines me. Professionally, progress is the sound I love. Presently majoring in Political Science from IPCW, I'm known to be a bit of a geek (guilty!). As someone who could never get tired of advocating equity (and sanity), I stand for gender equality, mental health and peaceful diplomacy in creating a super sustainable future.
